Because they don't typically wear armor, General Grievous had specialized flight suits crafted for them woven with phrik alloy fibers to make their clothing lightsaber resistant. They also have the same low-level Force connection as the Terror Troopers, which gives them an edge in fighter combat. Like their brothers and sisters among the Terror Troopers, the Terror Squadron Pilots are enhanced with cybernetic and bio-tech implants to enhance their skills and increase their reflexes. If the standard stormtroopers are expendable to Grievous, these Terror Troopers are less so, because time and again they prove themselves far more capable than their white armored brothers and sisters.įurther experimentation by General Grievous and his agents resulted in TIE Pilots enhanced by the Sith Stalker Pilots. However, General Grievous has secretly ensured that they are loyal to HIM over the Empire. They will obey any Sith Stalker, but their loyalty is to the Empire. And while they do not carry lightsabers, they are fully capable of using them should they acquire one. They are stoic and silent, speaking only when absolutely necessary, as they communicate with each other using cybernetic communications implants that allow them to "think" to each other and their master, General Grievous. With cybernetic and bio-tech skill and control implants, these Terror Troopers truly live up to their name. Their new black armor was high-grade armorplast laced with phrik alloy fibers to make them resistant to lightsabers. After a demonstration of what these Sith Stalker enhanced stormtroopers could do, General Grievous dubbed them "Terror Troopers", and had new armor fabricated for them. They were entirely unable to learn or use Force Powers, but their limited Force sensitivity gave them an edge over the regular stormtroopers.

However, these Sith Stalker Stormtroopers did not have a full connection with the Force. However, as his experiments continued and his agents became more familiar with the Sith Stalker Process, more stormtroopers began to survive the Sith Stalker Process. The first stormtroopers he experimented on died from the process.

At first, he was not entirely sure he could create Sith Stalkers with a full connection with the Force, so he experimented with stormtroopers, which he saw as expendable. After Darth Sidious declared himself emperor of the galaxy, General Grievous began experimenting with the Sith Stalker process.
